Just weeks after graduating medical school from The Commonwealth Medical College, Jennifer Sidari passed away unexpectedly. Jennifer was born and raised in West PIttston, PA. She left a tremendous void in the lives of all she touched. Jennifer was a special person, who had tremendous passion for life. She exemplified a life of service and caring for every person she met. Her compassion and care were focused on children, the indigent, and destitute.
To understand Jennifer, you would need to walk in her shoes (or bare feet). Jennifer's life was one of service. She volunteered at the Care and Concern Clinic in Pittston, PA. She traveled to the Philippines to help and serve the impoverished. She helped those struck by tragedy by the flood in Pittston, PA. She took it upon herself to administer Tetanus vaccines to aid the workers. She operated a Pediatric Clinic in Haiti weeks before she passed away. She aided children in clinics in South Africa and cared for hospitalized children in inner-city Oakland, California.
Jennifer's character demonstrated depths of compassion, humanity, and commitment to justice which is hard to be found in today's world. She was able to form partnerships and friendships wherever she went. To be in her presence was a remarkable, soothing, and uplifting experience. Above all she aided and cared for her neighbors, the elderly, or anyone she met. What made Jennifer special is the joy that radiated from her as she selflessly helped people.
In summary, Jennifer lived to serve people and smiled while she did it.
